RELIC CATALOG

The Archive Vault

Relics are the heartbeat of MandemOS.

They’re digital or physical artifacts planted in the world to trigger one thing:

The RAS Spike.

That “what the fuck…” moment where your brain wakes up and realizes life is not as flat as you thought.

Every relic — physical or digital — is engineered to make the player notice, act, and change state.

This page tracks all relic types, legendary drops, and how the hunts work.

🧊 WHAT RELICS ARE

A relic in MandemOS is:

• a symbol

• a psychological trigger

• a story seed

• a breadcrumb

• a test

It doesn’t matter if it’s a jar under a skate ramp or a digital puzzle on your phone —

a relic is an interruption of autopilot.

Relics exist to pull you out of default mode and into The Game.

🧱 PHYSICAL RELICS

During the mythic era, Reags.exe took 300 items from his actual life, downsized everything he owned, and hid them across Canada.

Notable physical relics include:

Red & Blue Pill Sets

Matrix-coded “choose your path” jars.

Left in liminal spaces: skate parks, Walmarts, stairwells, behind gas stations.

Scrolls Written by Hand

Poetic fragments of the myth — burned edges, coded text, glyphs.

8-Foot Contractor Levels

Yes. Actual contractor levels.

Hidden in industrial zones to trigger the “am I insane or is someone playing a game?” reaction.

The 1996 Birth Coin Set (Modified)

Artifacts from the day Reags was born.

Notes etched on the case.

A genuinely irreplaceable relic — intentionally released into the wild.

Rocket League 3D-Printed Cars

Created during a patch update where the model files were half-finished.

Printed and scattered as half-myth, half-glitch art.

Game Boards in Jars

Old board game pieces trapped in glass like time capsules.

And dozens more — bottles, cards, mints, weird objects meant to interrupt reality.

💻 DIGITAL RELICS

As MandemOS evolves, relics aren’t just physical anymore.

Digital relics appear through:

• encrypted puzzles

• timed drops

• hidden URLs

• QR codes in videos

• GPT-assisted riddles

• “liminal zone scans” — using AI to detect unusual patterns in images

Digital relics are how the system scales before the full app exists.

🧩 HOW DIGITAL RELIC HUNTS WORK

When population milestones unlock:

  1. A puzzle is sent to all map holders by email.

  2. It leads to a chain of clues across the internet.

  3. First person to solve it wins the reward ($100 → $1,000 → beyond).

  4. The winning player becomes part of MandemOS lore.

Everything happens online — no geography required.

🌍 HOW IRL RELIC HUNTS WORK

Physical hunts require players to:

  1. Interpret a location clue

  2. Scan a city for “liminal zones”

  3. Use their Scrollbot to break the riddle

  4. Find the relic

  5. Submit proof to the Discord or DM

IRL hunts will begin again when population and funds allow —

likely around the 10k-player mark.

🏅 LEGENDARY RELICS

These are the ones that matter long-term — artifacts with story weight.

The Birth Coin Relic (1996)

The literal coin set from the day Reags was born.

Altered. Released intentionally.

A symbol of “no going back.”

The Rocket League Patch Cars

Glitched models printed during a patch update —

half-rendered, perfect for the myth.

Mushroom-Era Scrolls

The earliest writings from the first Mandem experiments.

Red/Blue Liminal Capsules

Simple. Iconic. Disruptive.

These define the tone of MandemOS.
